Monday, July 24, 2023

9:00 a.m.: Courthouse Maintenance Squire Fields – Discuss health of tree on Courthouse grounds and discussion/motion regarding quote for drywall. ACTION ITEM.
9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.: County Civil Attorney Tevis Hull – Update on various matters. Motion to sign Certificates of Residency. Motion to sign Commissioner meeting minutes. Cancel/extend various taxes. Motion to sign New Private Road Name Request Forms. Discussion/motion regarding National Opioids Settlement Notice resolution. Discussion/motion regarding ARPA, ARPA projects and possible motion to adopt ARPA resolutions. ACTION ITEMS. Motion to go into executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)c, to acquire an interest in real property which is not owned by a government agency. POSSIBLE ACTION ITEM.
10:00 a.m.: Solid Waste Department Superintendent – Executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)b, to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public-school student. POSSIBLE ACTION ITEM.
1:30 p.m.: Road and Bridge Department report.
2:00 p.m.: Kathy Muir with the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation and Boundary Economic Development Council Director David Sims – Discuss land and water conservation funds grant program.
2:30 p.m.: County Parks & Recreation Department Board Chairman Rob Tompkins and Vice-Chairman Brandon Glaza – Discussion and request for updates regarding pay increase for county employee, 5-acre parcel adjacent to Riverside Park, connector trail under Highway 95 bridge, boat launch/road improvement at Riverside Park, Irrigation well at Memorial Park, and tennis court replacement/Longwell-Trapp Architects.
3:30 p.m.: Commissioners’ continued budget workshop.
6:00 p.m.: Start of Commissioners’ special meeting (joint City/County meeting) at Moyie Springs City Hall located at 3331 E. Roosevelt, Moyie Springs, with the City of Bonners Ferry and City of Moyie Springs to provide an update on various topics.

Tuesday, July 25, 2023 (Morning meetings to be held in Commissioners’ Office at the Courthouse Office. Afternoon meetings to be held at the County Annex)

9:50 a.m.: Motion to sign the Request for Reimbursement No. 30 for Airport Improvement Project #017, Environmental Assessment project, at the Boundary County Airport. ACTION ITEM.
10:00 a.m.: Commissioners’ continued budget workshop.
1:30 p.m.: Commissioners’ public hearing in the County Annex to consider Planning and Zoning File #23-0101, a short plat, rural subdivision for Applicants Jason & Joelle Worf. ACTION ITEM.
1:45 p.m.: Commissioners’ public hearing in the County Annex to consider Planning and Zoning File #23-0035, a long plat, commercial/industrial/mixed-use subdivision for Applicants Scott and Angela Hittle. ACTION ITEM.
