Please be advised Boundary County has been hit with another scam as reported by some of our residents. There is some evidence that these calls are directed to the elderly.

It appears that families are receiving phone calls regarding support for our local firefighters. The caller is asking for money.

There is not any group that is legally asking for funds regarding our firefighters. Please do not listen to these people and report the phone number of the caller and a brief description of the call to the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office at 208-267-3151.
