First Responders from Boundary Ambulance, local Fire departments, Sheriff’s Office and the City Police responded to an accident at a local pulp mill involving a employee who had gotten caught in some of the equipment suffering serious injuries. The First Responders were aided at the scene by medical staff and Doctors from Boundary Community Hospital.
The 42 year old employee had to be extricated from the machinery and was flown to Kootenai Medical by Lifeflight helicopter.
