Commissioners' Meeting Minutes - Week of October 9, 2017

***Monday, October 9, 2017, Commissioners did not meet due to the Columbus Day Holiday.

***Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 9:30 a.m., Commissioners met in regular session with Chairman Dan Dinning, Commissioner LeAlan Pinkerton, Commissioner Walt Kirby, Clerk Glenda Poston, and Deputy Clerk Michelle Rohrwasser.

Commissioner Pinkerton moved to sign the Certificate of Residency for Justin Mendenhall. Commissioner Kirby second. Motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Pinkerton moved to amend last week’s prior motion to certify the delinquent Three Mile Water District account for parcel #RP62N01E123000 to the real property roll for collection as the parcel owner has paid their account. Commissioner Kirby second. Motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Pinkerton moved to authorize the Chairman to sign the Idaho Office of Emergency Management 2015 Grant Adjustment Notice for the 2015 Operation Stonegarden Grant totaling $31,700.00 through the 2015 State Homeland Security Program. Commissioner Kirby second. Motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Pinkerton moved to sign the Addendum to the Airport Manager Agreement for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. Commissioner Kirby second. Motion passed unanimously.

Commissioner Pinkerton moved to sign the Professional Services Contract and Retainer as First Appearance Counsel for Indigent Persons. Commissioner Kirby second. Motion passed unanimously.

Commissioners reviewed claims for payment. Fund totals are as follows:

9:40 a.m., Chief Deputy Clerk Tracie Isaac joined the meeting.

Commissioner Kirby moved to go into executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)b, to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public school student. Commissioner Pinkerton second. Commissioners voted as follows: Chairman Dinning “aye”, Commissioner Pinkerton “aye” and Commissioner Kirby “aye”. Motion passed unanimously.

Sheriff Dave Kramer joined the executive session.

The executive session ended at 10:30 a.m. No action was taken.

Chief Deputy Clerk Isaac and Sheriff Kramer left the meeting.

Commissioner Kirby moved to amend the agenda to include signing the one year extension to the Agreement for Shelter Services with Second Chance Animal Adoption as it is time sensitive. Commissioner Pinkerton second. Motion passed unanimously.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 10:45 a.m.
