Wednesday, April 10, 2019

On Saturday, April 27, 2019, the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), will host this year’s Drug Take Back event in the parking lot of Super 1 Foods beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing through 12:00 noon. The program is anonymous and no questions or requests for identification will be made.

Controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter substances will be accepted. All solid dosage pharmaceutical products and liquids in consumer containers will be accepted. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container. Please make sure the cap is tightly closed to prevent leakage.

Intra-venous solutions, injectables, syringes, chemotherapy medications, and medical waste WILL NOT be accepted due to potential hazard posed by blood-borne pathogens.
