Blasting has been scheduled to take place at Richard Schneurle’s gravel pit, located on parcel RP61N01W351810A on Round Mountain Road in Highland Flats on Thursday, August 6, 2009.

This notice is provided that those in the area of the blasting can make preparations necessary to minimize potential adverse impacts, such as noise and dust.

The blasting operation will consist of two separate early morning detonations so as to reduce the concussive impact, as is allowed by county special use permit 06-01, which is on file in Room 16 at the county courthouse and available for public review.
