Alert: Avalanche Warning until 12:00AM Sunday
The Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center has issued an Avalanche Warning indicating HIGH avalanche hazard for the entire forecast region, which includes Bonner, Boundary and Shoshone counties. This warning does not apply to local ski areas within the forecast region. This warning is valid for today, Friday, Dec 29 will remain in effect through Saturday night at midnight. This center typically only issues warnings on Fridays . The absence of a warning on any other day of the week should not be used to infer avalanche conditions on those days.
