Press Release 8-22-18

On 8-21-18 the local ATF agent and the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a local family who had discovered some explosive materials in a shop on the property. The ATF agent contacted the Spokane Bomb Squad to identify and dispose of the materials.

On 8-22-18 members of the Spokane Bomb Squad with their bomb disposal truck assisted by the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, Boundary County Ambulance, and Boundary County Emergency Management visited the site.

The Bomb Squad identified a larger amount of materials and decided to transport those materials to a safe place for destruction.
