Boundary County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 20 yoa, Shykeim Daquan Chavis last evening on a felony robbery charge out of Kootenai County. The Sheriff’s office received a tip that he may be in our County and the Deputies followed up with an investigation which ended with following a suspect vehicle and locating Chavis hiding in the trunk of the vehicle. Chavis was taken into custody on the $75,000 robbery warrant without further incident and transported to jail. I am proud of the great job that the Deputies did in tracking down and arresting this wanted person.
