On August 4, at about 11:35 a.m., the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office received a
9-1-1 hang up call. Deputies responded to the Pleasant Valley area of Boundary County to investigate the source of the call. Deputies located Don and Linda Grove, both injured on their property. The Groves own a sewage disposal business and had been performing maintenance on a storage tank when they were injured. Fire, ambulance and Lifeflight responded to the scene. Both subjects were transported to the hospital for treatment.
