Press Release 10-29-18

Forest Service Begins Burning Piles:
It is the start of the pile burning season. We will be burning today and are likely to be burning most of the next few weeks if we are cleared for smoke, not always a guarantee. I will send out a daily list of our locations where we will be burning on the days we are approved.
In general: we will be burning piles throughout the district, but they are concentrated by sale in specific areas. Our main sales are around Brush Lake, Kriest Creek and Copper Creek area, the Wall Mountain area, Leonia Knob, Robinson Lake Area, possibly along the Snow Creek road, between the Camp Nine, Huckleberry roads, and Templeman Lake, and the base of Hall Mountain.
Today we will be burning in the Wall Mountain, Copper Creek and Kriest Creek area, and the base of Hall Mountain.
