The US Forest Service reports pile burning season is winding down as far as units are concerned. The Forest Service is hoping to complete burning in the Hall Mountain area today. Tomorrow they hope to get permission to start burning in the Brush Lake area.
If they get permission to burn these two areas they will be done with the majority of pile burning. There will be some landings burned when the logging is complete.
