TAX DEED HEARING-NEWS RELEASE

Boundary County Treasurer Larson would like to inform all parties of interest that the Tax Deed Hearing scheduled for March 30, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. will proceed as scheduled. Payments must be made to the Treasurer’s office by March 30, mailed payment must be received before the hearing date and time (We will not accept postmarks for this payment!), payments can also be made online or by phone (convenience fees still apply- $3.95 for debit card, 2.5% ($2/min) for credit card, $1.50 for electronic check) OR call Treasurer’s office to make appointment to pay in person.

Boundary County Treasurer, Susan M. Larson, would like to remind all Boundary County taxpayers that the deadline for paying the first half of the 2019 property taxes without penalty is Friday, December 20, 2019.

The Boundary County Commissioners will have their representative sell at Public Auction beginning at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, July 10, 2017, in the Boundary County Commissioners’ Office located in the Courthouse, 6452 Kootenai Street, Room #28, Bonners Ferry, Idaho for cash to the highest bidder, the following described properties, to-wit: Please note: Copies of the complete legal descriptions & Assessor’s parcel maps can be reviewed and obtained in the Commissioners’ Office.

2016 Second Half Property Taxes due by June 20, 2017

Boundary County Treasurer, Susan M. Larson, would like to remind all Boundary County taxpayers that the deadline for paying the second half of the 2016 property taxes without penalty is Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

Reminders were mailed in April for delinquent taxes (if any) and the second half of the 2016 taxes. After June 20th, per Idaho Code, a two percent late charge and interest of one percent per month will be added, retroactive to January 1, 2017 on the second half of the 2016 taxes.
